Hey-hey-hey! I'm back in the Bay. Hope y'all had a nice postal service-turkey day today. Did yous practise any Black Fri shopping?
Mine was a pretty mellow solar day. We stayed the nighttime in Redding and and so took El Hub's parents out to breakfast this morning at a place called the Country Kitchen. Then, after manner besides many buttery biscuits (And then Expert!), nosotros visited i of Redding's tourist attractions.
Cheque this out. It's chosen the Sundial Bridge.
It's a footbridge crossing the Sacramento River, which weaves through the boondocks. Redding, from what I've seen of it, has a very quaint, land feel, and the bridge, with its sleek curves and modern, minimalist design, almost seemed a piddling out of place at beginning, until I walked out over the h2o and could have it all in.
I idea it was actually quite majestic and beautiful. I could have spent all mean solar day there taking pictures of the structure itself, the distant mountains and the fishermen in their waders down in the river below…
Later on the bridge, El Hub and I got back on the route to home. Information technology was a brief visit this time, and I did miss my mom, dad and brother down here, but it was also nice to meet more members of the family. I even got to talk makeup shop with a couple of the cousins. 🙂
I'd originally planned to write a review this afternoon, merely I was beat from the bulldoze when we got habitation…
Speaking of that, why are road trips so exhausting? It's non like I was doing jumping jacks or anything in the automobile. Merely sitting at that place looking out the windows.
